A belligerent actor encounters a girl who professes to love him without explanation.

Loosely adapted from the William Shakespeare play. This was a UCF Film originally produced in 2006.

I realized the older version on my channel was only available in 240P resolution, so with a few additional sound fixes that weren't completed in 2006 I decided to re-upload the film in better quality.

  • It was a very liberal modern interpretation of AMSND, just for Act III, Scene I. The ending was invented but follows the written arc. My aim was to have Bottom undergo his emotional transformation in a very realistic way: I portray him as an asshole (an "ass") from the very beginning and thus there is no external transformation, just an internal one as this "princess" professes to love him without explanation. When he wakes, she has disappeared, leaving him dumbfounded but utterly affected.

  • is this a modern version or interpretation of AMND?
