Yeah I know that schizotypal individuals are suffering from loneliness, but so might some schizoid people. Schizoid people are some kind of "blocked" on social levels, at least some of them, others do, as you said, avoid social contacts for they don´t consider them as necessary. Schizotypals are more "psychotic" than schizoids.
-
@Bobbel222 that are some of the reasons of schizotypal behaviour. schizotypal pd leads to seclusion. for example if s.o. has borderline and isolates himself from society not to get emotionally affected anymore its schizotypal. schizoid personality disorder describes the utter dislike of social interactions not the inability. unlike schizotypal people schizoid people dont even miss social interaction.
-
That´s not right at all...schizotypal is a separate disorder which is defined through an unordinary kind of sensing things, odd behaviour and in some cases even hallucinations. Schizoid is not a label without a degree...the stronger the schizoid part is, the stronger is the need for seclusion, but as I said before, there are several degrees.

@Bobbel222 if you dont like to be lonely all the time, but live a secluded life youre not schizoid but schizotypical. its a difference. Ive been schizotypical once because I was depressive but actually Im a very social person, not at all schizoid.
-
Well, I constantly analyze myself, my behavior, and so on. And yeah, it is with no doubt a milf form that I suffer from, the schizoid part is definitely the dominating one.
-
@Bobbel222 you must either have a mild form or its the bl narcisism speaking out of you - you know the Im in control of everything and stuff-thing. the bl I knew kept on switching from a lovely warm person to an acid cynical and narcisstic bitch. actually I am confused wether I like or hate her lol. anyway I feel huge respect for her because she kept on analyzing herself to keep herself in control. it must be a merciless struggle to do that the whole fucking life long.
-
Nah, I am able to prevent myself from freaking out for nothing and I can´t understand all those BL-people who are incapable of self-control. .
-
@unclesamfatg really? I found this acting an underestimation. With regard to the histrionics I know they are a lot more sophisticated and radical. I guess there are different manifestations of that disorder.

@jkenney2 my mother has severe HPD. completely nuts. There was no way of communicating with her and not getting manipulated in a way that you become a viewer not only of her life but also of your own after a while. I realized she wouldnt change so I had to cut off the relationship with her. I swear these people suck off the last bit of your joy for life and make YOU have a bad conscience afterwards. crazy shit.

@Bobbel222 :D youre a true borderliner. gets pissed off by nothing all the time. :DD
Wow, you know until I watched the rest I didn't even realise this was acting. Well done!
