  • The Rapture is NOT a "new" doctrine. All the apostles and the early church believed the Rapture. That was the reason that Paul wrote to the Thessalonians on multiple occasions, because they were afraid and freaking out that they had missed the Lord's coming and were in the Great Tribulation.

Watch this seminar by Dr. Chuck Missler on why the Rapture IS biblical, based on ancient Jewish Marriages.

  • @ClassicCartoonsGuy There is absolutely no biblical nor historic evidence that anyone believed this myth prior to the 1800's. Camping was wrong and all other versions will be/are wrong as well.

  • THE RAPTURE WILL OCCUR ON MAY 21 2011 AND THE BEGININNG OF JUDGMENT DAY, OCTOBER 21 2011 WILL BE THE FINAL END OF THE WORLD.

  • Thanks @makeme708 but there's not going to be a Rapture. Its not a biblical teaching.

The world is not going to end.

The world government is going to advance a Rex Mundi (global ruler) at some point. He will sign a treaty with Israel and just shy of seven years after that Y'shua will return and establish the Thousand Year Kingdom.

Harold Camping (family radio) is a false prophet. Is he actually saying this now? He made a LOT of money off his 1988 end of the world predictions.

    Shalom

  • @johnofallfaith Camping is just more proof of our Lord Yeshua's words, that "no man knows the day nor hour," yet, people like him get the attention of the media and sadly, people lump all watchmen of the times in his category. The plain and simple truth is that the harpazo (i.e. the rapture) is biblical; just study the ancient Jewish marriage customs, but also, to say that it was not believed prior to the 1800s is to completely ignore the reason why Paul wrote BOTH letters to Thessalonica.
