@alvingb Yes, Maudio does the fast track, and youve got cheaper ones like the Lexicon omega. They are called external sound cards. Good luck mate!

Is there a sound card for Laptops?

Will this work in a Windows 7? My soundblaster just died after only a few months. I am not happy. Tried using it with Adobe Audition multitract and was not too happy with the blaster support.

I have a question about the phono sockets. If they are left & right stereo are they still capable of recording separate tracks to your software? In other words are they 6 tracks or 3 stereo tracks? We are considering getting this card but we need all eight inputs for our rhythm section and scratch tracks combined.

would this let me use my mackie 1604 vlz pro mixer as an interface into the computer 2 record instruments and let me mix them after using a software..also wut software could i use to make that possible..thanks
