There is a file name which is called mainview.xib if you double click on that it will take you were you need to go to edit the view

Yeah, that is what I've been trying to do. Going through apples dev center. It's just so different from anything I've done. hard to find a place to start.

I would just recommend starting with some of the sample applications in Xcode. That, with a hint of documentation, is usually the quickest way for me to learn things.

hey when you get the Standard Program $99 to make programs what do you get or what does it do is it some thing you have to install on your mac ?

The $99 program is to be a registered iPhone developer, meaning you can upload iPhone apps for sale in the iTunes store (once approved, good luck with that!). You can download the Xcode SDK and write and run programs on the simulator without doing this though.

The icon is a file called icon.png in your project... I think that's right.
