Children and volunteers peace-builders on Christmas 2011

15 years of civil war did not stop children, Muslims and Christians, from celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ in an area that used to be the green line of Beirut. Children, with the help of World Vision volunteers, became once again peace-builders as they performed a Christmas play and carols on December 23, 2011. This initiative came out of the volunteers living in Ain el Remmaneh, Chiyyah and Ghobayreh, Lebanon where World Vision is implementing peace-building projects.
The song Islamo-Christian AVE was performed by Tania Kassis with Mohammad Shaar and Maen Zakaria.
