That "Daddy-O" portion shows how old this song is: a gap in the culture for 50 years.

One of my fellow students in high school was named Charlie Brown, and he was a very nice person. When the song with his name hit the charts, I felt bad for him. I liked the song but not the fact that others might make fun of anyone with that name.
