Having lived in Korea for a little over 9 months, the one thing I get asked about and hear about is culture shock. These are my thoughts and the things I did to prepare for living in such a different place than where I am from and have travelled to.

  • Hey, i was wondering how the sizes is in korea is? Can bigger persons buy clothes there? I'm very thankfull for an answer, because im going to korea very very soon, and i am very worry haha ^^

  • @typascool Anything above an American size 8-10 pants or a medium shirt is difficult to come by. But it also depends on where you are in Korea, Seoul is more accustomed to foreigners and has a larger selection, but most other cities do not.

  • Do you eat pork? what if in my country pigs are raise as pets just like your doggy pets and we feel disgusting eating pigs which you don't obviously..... Come on, wake up, stop being mean, people just try to be nice and you think that boring and phony, then go to Africa. It doesn't matter what we eat and how we talk, it matters what you think and how you behave, don't be ignorant boo##

  • I dont eat dogs but the culture of eating dog in Korea is going down so people should stop bringing it up and being racist to Koreans... Anyways don't hate someone because of eating a type of meat every meat is the same...

  • i'm korean, and i dont eat dogs, too. :(

  • Just like rainyday347 said.

I'm a Korean too, and I don't eat dogs. I hate eating dogs. It's not like every single person in Korea eats dogs. Why are people keep saying that Koreans eat dogs?

All my friends don't, all my family don't, and all my neighbors don't.

There can be some people who eat dogs, but they're just the minority.

People are always talking like Koreans=eat dogs. THIS IS NOT TRUE!!!

  • im korean and i dont eat dogs. i hate how ppl think that evry single korean eats dogs, cause we don't. none of my classmates does nor does my neighbours. so plz stop being so racist. we r human beings and have feelings. and besides, some ppl from other countries have a great time here. so it's not like we hate them and r being mean to them.

  • I seen only skinny women seldom seen chubby,as for me categorized as chubby too since i am size 12 LOL!

  • @ShenaniBanani aww yeah thats sad :( u should just homestay! if im really 100% going there i'll be homestaying. it's way cheaper and safer and the hosts would probably help us a lot. do ur friends not like K-Pop or K-dramas?
