I just learned that Mara Wilson's mom died from breast cancer while this was being filmed. But Mara pressed on and the film was made. It is dedicated to her mom, if you can watch the full credits, you will see, her name is Suzie Wilson. I have watched this movie for many years and love it so much! Mara Wilson, you will always be 'Matilda' to me!
