I love watching Terry play and not just for the tie :') lol
-
At first I didn't know what to make of his neck tie xD
-
Awesome!
-
The best tip I learned for birls was greasing up your pinky with birl batter from the side of your nose.
Notice him doing it at the start.
-

-
They are reels in Tully's books!
-
Then how come the Galway Whistler in Tully's book is listed under reels?
-
A hornpipe is not a reel. This is a hornpipe!
-
Reels, not hornpipes.
-

-
mmm well thats me got the music for the galway whistler and can play it but the rest of it and the fancy slurs not to be seen must be terry himself that added it????
-
The first tune is "The Galway Whistler". Irish traditional, of course arranged by Terry Tully. Still wondering though, what's the second tune. However, it may as well be a continuation of "The Galway Whistler" but not written down anywhere.
-
