Far Away Future Trailer

Trailer of the docudrama Far away future. A film about two teenage girls (Nana & Gaja) on the verge of becoming women. They belong to the Himba tribe living in koakaveld in the North of Namibia.
Gaja becomes increasingly convinced that her future lies in the city, far away from the Himba tribe. In the city where she can achieve anything, be anyone, a nurse, a saleswoman of clothes... Nana does not wish to leave the tribe. She is content to stay with her family, living life as a traditional Himba woman.

Well done, thought provoking, interesting enough to cause a pause. At the current pace of the mental chatter of the "civilized" world, i am glad to here more from the "quiet" or honest quarter. "Civilization" yammers and chatters still, but these days that part of it becomes like white noise. More of us once distracted by that senseless sound, understand its call, we turn away to return to the underlying quiet. it is a place within, quiet yes, but not silent, still small and hear* we find

i dont think the narration is useful, the voice has no connection to the films subjects at all. its confusing to even know if that is the women in the films actual words and thoughts. it would be much more impacting to hear the women talk with subtitles.
