Sigh, I too fell victim to the damned handgun negligence and once I replayed the chapter and used the gun the trophy came out

You definitely need to turn down the game audio in future as you can barely hear what you are saying during gunfire.

@Filliiipppe Believe me,WAY MUCH people did this mistake,not using the revolver at "Armed and Dangerous,as you sayd once killed someone with it "pluck" Roscoe and Friends achievement unlocked. 15G

i was about to complete this trophy, suddenly I kill the guy with the side arm, then I got the trophy (had beaten the game before), OMFG so happy I am to not go over so many missions to get this again.

@philiybrolove I had this mistake too. Go back to the case Armed and Dangerous, then use instead of the shotgun, the revolver of cole, once you killed someone with that revolver you should get the achievement ~ thumbs up so everybody can see it
