Last week of May 2011 - Arendal, Norway.
As you see in my old videos, I used to make time lapse videos by recording a video file for some minutes and then increase the speed of it in Windows Movie Maker. But then even though the time lapses didn't became so long, the video files that had to be edited were extremely large making the editing process very tiring.
However, now that I have Canon 500D, I bought an intervalometer (time shutter controller) and can therefore make the camera take photo every X seconds. Then the rest is much easier and I make longer time lapse videos and much quicker than before. I really suggest an intervalometer, if you are interested in time lapse photography! I have also bought a ND filter, but I have to learn which exposure settings must be set in order to avoid flickering.
Those are not any awesome time lapses, but I uploaded the video just to compare the quality to the older videos.
