@tikitadd Zach Condon performs the trumpets on this, so I guess he didn't have a problem with it. It's not so bad; it could have ended up being a really generic pop/dance cover by some "flavour of the moment" band. Not my cup of tea (and definitely not a patch on the original) but it's an interesting enough take on the song. Plus, it might point more potential fans in Beirut's direction.

I'm not one for people doing covers of Beirut because they are so epic on their own but this is kinda pretty.

@ihasch I'm not sure what the context of your original comment was, but I don't really see anything wrong with it as long as it's legal. Personally, if the artist themselves asked me to take it down (I do have a couple videos on my own channel that it could happen with), I would take them down, even if I didn't legally have to.
That said, I think maybe a buy link to Amazon or something might be good for the balancing of it.

I think "The End, The End", "China Shoes" and "Wipe off my sweat" are great ... as well as "Mother" and "What I Heard" .... :)

@iluvdeboraharry "Girlie, Girlie" is so catchy that song works better as a single than "Mother".
