Patrick Swayze Dancing with the Stars Tribute

"Dancing With the Stars" pulled out the stops tonight for its first results show of a new season.

The high point was a moving tribute to the late Patrick Swayze, who had been a friend to the show and a friend of first season runner-up John O'Hurley.

The show's professional dancers exuberantly saluted Swayze's hit movies and memorable moves, especially in "Dirty Dancing."

The show also became a showcase for Disney properties and stars on Disney-owned ABC. The show previewed the new music video from "Hannah Montana" star Miley Cyrus and staged a rousing number from the stage musical of "The Lion King."

Oh, and the show sent the two lowest-scoring celebrities out of the show.

SPOILER ALERT:

There was no surprise there, although the show kept Tom DeLay and Kelly Osbourne in the mix to keep fans hanging on. DeLay, who is known as "The Hammer," will be back. So, too, will Osbourne, who was the first week's biggest surprise for her elegance and charm.

Out of the competition are singer Macy Gray, whose gawkiness was kind of endearing, and Ashley Hamilton, whose woodenness wasn't.

Next week: "Moulin Rouge" director Baz Luhrmann will be a guest judge. How will he fit in on that panel?
