Selena and Joe

*On the bus, Selena sees Joe looking out the window, smiling. She doesnt ever remember seeing him like this. Once they get to his house she gets ready to find out what his deal is.*

S- whats gotten into you?
J- what are you talking about?
S- why are you so happy and smiley all of a sudden?
J- Im always like this.
S- oh yeah, always. Now why are you acting like a goof?
J- theres no reason. Im just in a good mood.
S- youre also a liar.
J- youre also brain dead when that new guy comes around you
S- I am not. It was one time.
J- it was the entire day.

Nick and Demi.

*Nick pulls his car into the garage. He and Demi go into the kitchen and sit at the large marble counter top. They put their bags down and Rosa puts two plates of ice cream in front of them.*

Rosa- so, how was your day?
N- awful
D- dreadful
Rosa- oh come on! Whats the school like? Meet any new people?
N- its old, ugly, stupid, and my locker is so small that I cant even fit my school bag in it.
D- these two losers wouldnt stop showing up wherever we were today. And get this! You wont believe it! She took a piece of my sushi without even asking!
N- oh no, she asked. She just didnt wait for an answer.
D- yea! Can you believe it?
Rosa- no manners? Well dont worry. You only have a few months to go and it will be over. Oh Mr. Nick, Miss Cyrus was by looking for you, I said you were out with your sister.
N- thank you Rosa. Thats why I love you!
Rosa- I know I know!
D- wait, you dont want Miley around?
N- I dont want her knowing the trouble dad got us into.
D- why?
N- shell probably break up with me
D- then she doesnt love you like she says she does. I told you Rosa, she was no good.
Rosa- yes you did
N- shut up! Im going up to my room to wallow in my own self pity and then maybe start some homework.
D- when you are doing homework, call me. We can do it together.
N- (already halfway up the stairs) yup
Rosa- so any cute guys?
D- I didnt notice. One guy called me Demz.
Rosa- whoa, havent heard that one since you were 4
D- yeah, I know. It was weird.
Rosa- is he cute?
D- I dont know. I didnt look.
Rosa- oh come on Miss Demi.
D- I didnt!
Rosa- whatever you say.
D- I know! Goodbye Rosa. Im going to do homework. (runs up the stairs)
Rosa- teenagers
