  • Very creative. Great camera work too. Have you replaced the stock strings that the OU2 comes with and what do you think of them?

  • @KarenBlikspand thanks Karen! you know I only replaced one string because I couldn't find a set of their stock strings, and I much prefer the warmth of the stock strings to the ones I could buy, although the store-bought one seems to stay in tune better . . . what are your thoughts on them?

  • @TheAnniebacon I think the uke sounds just as it should for this particular song. And having owned that uke too I think I know what you mean by the warmth of the strings, they do sound very ukish. How long did it take you to do this song + video? Looks like a lot of work.

  • @KarenBlikspand sorry for the tardy response! the video was shot in one day & edited over the course of a few days by my partner's roommate (both my partner & the roommate appear as bass players in the video :) I just visited the Duke of Uke in London and found the stock strings there, so I'm excited to get that warmer sound back.

  • I voulenteer at that railroad!!!!!!

  • @steamfreak22 awesome!! do you know the conductor?? we forgot to get his email address to show him the video!

  • Awesome! Just got the same uke for my daughter, and it arrived last week. What a good deal.
