  • Imagine, the ammount of money we could use by bringing these weapons home and selling them on the private market. Half of the deficit would be paid off.

but no.... instead they destroy these weapons. -.- we still haven't seen a drop of oil that Bush promised.

  • All the Mauser and Enfield rifles! Destroyed. :'(

  • wtf just bring em to my house

  • @gunmanchris1 very true. but remember we arent fighting their military or government.

  • @markssite Perhaps i should have said cheapest secure way to do it. I'd rather see em destroyed by us than ending back up in the hands of insurgents.

  • @gunmanchris1 the cheapest way to deal with it is let their own government deal with it.

  • destroy the aks there are plenty but dam dont destroy the dang bolt actions i know for a fact id buy um yall should bring them home. although i know how bad the Iraqis treat their guns and how the rig up a gun in their basement but still dang

  • @agumon12 Seems like the cost of bringing em home would jack the prices way up not to mention the government would have to do all the bureaucratic crap like registration and ensuring functionality. Although i agree and hate to see a fine weapon destroyed your tax dollars would be paying to bring them back and then you'd have to buy em. Unfortunately this is the cheapest way to deal with it.

  • looked like some variants of AK'47's but with larger stock and barrel in there anyone know what they are?

  • @nick122344 The destruction of these guns is a waste i mean....

  • De-mil (non-fireing original) RPG-7s sell for about $1000-1200 in the US. A cut up AKM will sell for $350 w/barrel. A cut up russian AKM will sell for twice that much. A cut up Russian AK47 will sell for close to $1000. And yes, these are just prices for cut up guns destined to be scrap that people piece back together into semi-autos.

    Its a total waste...

  • @jegertobbak123 they could booby trap the guns like we did in Vietnam. One shot and it explodes in your face.
