I have copyrighted many of the images in this video to prevent my artwork from being used without my permission. If you wish to incorporate similar images into videos of your own please contact me and I will provide images you can use (If I like you). Also I have no objection to people displaying clips of my video in a response, or a discussion of it. You also have my permission to down load and re-upload the video as long as it is not altered.

This video addresses a controversial topic, and I suspect many people will give it low ratings simply because they dislike the evidence and message of the video. I believe that videos should be rated according to their merit, not the popularity of the views they express, and so I am disabling the ratings for this video.

  • It is imperative to note that the contentions put forward in this video are premised on an 'Orientalists' dialectic, the narrative contained therein are not original, and have been discussed at length in academia by both neo Orientalists and non Orientalists alike.

  • @DiegoRino Well obviously...

No-one was ever going to think that "FluffyDarkPrincess" came up with a revolutionary new idea about an entire field of historical research and chose a 7 minute You-tube video as the medium by which to present that new research to the world.

  • Hi,

Glad you liked my videos, and thank you for the information.

I was using the Erasmian pronunciation system, thats a greatly simplified system for pronouncing ancient Greek.

Am I right in thinking that you are a Modern Greek speaker? You've associated very different sounds with the letters to what I'm used to.

My video Two Versions of the New Testament contains an analysis of a Greek passage from the scripture of an ancient Christian group; Id love to know your opinion on my work.

  • You talk too much shit. Fuck off when you know nothing about History.

  • Hello SassanianPrince,

Your opinion would be more influential if you backed it up with some evidence, or a logical counter argument... perhaps you have some compelling evidence that Islamic civilisation actually flourished as their values became more conservative...

Right now people just think that you're in a strop because the historical facts are in conflict with your world view...

    Warmest regards, FDP

  • I believe that you did a lot of hard work on this project n yea a kick start for me to investigate the significant transitions from logic to religious dogma n back. Coz this is the most important phase, just like Europe had this age of reason. Thanks for putting this amazing work on you-tube for we are the avid readers, ;)

  • @FluffyDarkPrincess This is a very good Video. I must point out that god is behind everything. Islami teaches us to seek knowlage everywhere we go. I certainly dont think Islamic civilsation is dead as you would have us believe. its just how can i put it.. sleeping. I just feel that Europe left it behind in the 14 century

  • Instead of going through making all these videos all you had to say was homosexuality is cool and religion is the root of all evil. Professor Dawkins is your God I presume.

  • this is a good try for the westerners to get into the world of Islamic intellectual era. Good. But that sculpture is not al-Gazzali, he is Iranian Abbasid revolutionary Abu Muslim.

  • Have a Mid East History test. This is a good brush up!
