@badslabber Hmm, I can walk down to my buddy Billy Ray's shop and take my pick of any size original VW aircooled engine, from 1300's to 2200cc Porsche aircooled engines. Out here on the West Coast, we pride ourselves in our Dubs.

We swapped a fully rebuilt 8v Gti engine in it. She's running great now. Not very fast but you'd be surprised how well a 1.8 8v can hold it's ground. The're tough little engines. Eventually we might drop a 1.8T from mk4 but we'll see. He has no money to invest in it right now. As for the mags....well those are long gone :) we replaced them with some 15" polished castelets from a Passat syncro.

AlexxSR...buddy the car had a blown head gasket and was sitting in front of the garage where it was getting a fully re-built engine swap. Thanks for the nice comments...come talk to me like that in person & u'd get smacked around like a little bitch!
