using app Neocore to benchmark fps... not entirely fair as app is designed for qualcomm processors and Vibrant seems to cap at 55.7fps.. but shows the GPU and CPU power of the 2nd gen 'Scorpion' Snapdragon..

  • @jlg19753 its something called vsync

  • Must have had the cpu turned down on vibrant cause I have both and the vibrant is much faster.

  • That's a nasty glare on the g2. I'm willing to bet if you eliminated the glare, it would look a whole lot better. Poor angle shot for the g2.

  • I still can't make up my mind, I just wish the samsung had a flash for the carmera, the only thing I hate.

  • @WiiRocks66 Neocore is very out of dated with OpenGL 1.1 when all the intense 3D games are running on OpenGL 2.0. Galaxy S/Nexus S are capped at 56 fps/hz in Neocore. A better benchmark would be Nenamark1 since it does OpenGL 2.0, which is the lastest. Try out Dungeon Defenders for yourself. Tegra 2> Hummingbird > Snapdragon

  • @nraudigy That kernel wasn't really running at 1.6ghz and it wasn't showing the true framerate. The devs said it's fake, but they don't really know why.

  • Oh didn't realize I was buying the next gen gaming hand helds.. I was hoping to buy a phone for business purposes..

  • get a tripod

  • The hinge problem ain't nothing! Who holds a phone upside down unless your a bat and if u was a bat u couldn't see, I got the g2 b4 it came out not once have I had any problem! N it has never slowed down!
