Paint & Dance Workshops by Enlightenment Dance Company

I believe we are born to express ourselves through art!
When we are children we know how to do this very well: we sing, we dance, we paint, we play!!
However, as years pass, we repress ourselves and we separate from our inner child essence of being and doing things in a spontaneous way.

The canvas for the Paint & Dance Workshop is spontaneity to allow us to play the way only children do and get in touch with our being and be present, in the moment, herenow.

We paint our bodies to honor our being here, now, breathing, living, playing roles in life. We mix colors and brush them out letting intuition and music be the only guides to express our souls, merging with the music, paint and dance, and allow them to become one as the first glimpse into becoming one with the universe. We become aware of how space and time to flow within the rhythms the universe, as life manifests through color and form and blend in and out, above and beyond into the rhythm of all there is.

I remember when I was spontaneous with art when I was a little kid. Why does it happen that we repress all these? I believe this workshops can unlock so much of who we really are that has been suffocated by who we pretend to be...

I was able to attend this event and I would highly reccomend it to anyone considering a try. I was able to let go of those outer distractions and gain perspective for my own life. I left hozhuni's retreat refreshed and with greater insight. The whole paint and dance experience was magical, inspiring and filled with joy. I can't wait to do this again!

This workshop was so much fun! I loved being in the moment, playing with the colors and feeling the paint on my fingers and toes as we danced our paint dance!
