@TheXLittleXPrincess Jesus, the reaction to this woman is disgusting in itself. Burn her alive!? How is that any less brutal than bludgeoning Pauline's mother to death with a brick? Jesus, learn some fucking sensibility. You're right, what she did was horrible, but if you've actually studied her case files, their letters and diaries etc, you realise something quite crucial. SHE WAS INSANE. They both were. Folie a deux. Her lack of remorse is probably because she is STILL insane.

What baffles me most about this whole thing (the murder and the events leading to it) is the intense overwhelming desperation it would take to do something like that. How could those two girls believe in their fantasy ridden, obviously disturbed minds, that it was the only way out? That killing Pauline's mother would keep them together. Sad, twisted, pitiful and dumb as I don't know what!!! How is beating someone to death with a brick gonna look like an accident?

Ive read Annes novels and they made me feel better. They are entertaining but full of good values and good characters. This woman is intelligent and good, believe me. What disturbs me is Pauline. Killing her own mother? But Ive read some comments full of hate towards Anne/Juliet. And no one speaks about Pauline. I cant understand it.
