What kind of stove are you using? It puzzels me that you can boil water so quickly, yet drops on the heating surface do not evaporate. ...?

it is an induction stove, costs about Rs 3000/-, it heats the bottom of the vessel by inducing high frequency alternating magnetic field and the heat is as a result of hysterisis losses induced in the bottom of the vessel.. there is no heating surface ..works only with stainless steel utencils which have a flat bottom, and does the heating very efficiently and very fast.. in fact too fast sometimes for comfort ! it is a korean make and is now available everywhere, i think ! :)
