Long Live Beaver, Mr. Bruce and Mr. Peter! Langan and West were great! In high school I could do all the voices (including Beaver's!). I cracked up everybody!

Don't forget the "boner chihuahua"!

I lived for this show. A million thanks!

YESSS! Thank You!. My brother and I would listen to these on our paper route before school. I loved the Lengin & West radio network. It was "theater of the mind" at its funniest. All seattle, totally unique. those of us within listening range of any of those radio stations were/are privy to some very incredible talent!

Too old for JP Patches
Time to move on to adult radio.
This morning radio spot got me up in the morning.
Live long JP.
OK People! Lighten up. I heard these back in the day live. It was a Seattle FM Morning Show during the drive-time. I worked for PNB an we used to wire it from the phone line where everyone in the office would listen in for 3 minutes, and bust a gut. So if you don't understand the premise, Beaver was 36 yo, retarded, & Black. I'm a brother, so I can attest to the fact that this wasn't a racism thing. It was a parody of the 50-60's TV show ON THE RADIO! And it was FUNNY AS SH*T back in '80-81.

@oldguardduke; Glad you liked them. Sure wish I could find the old box of cassettes I had with others (along with Mr. Bruce and a host of other greats - like Officer Lee Groinman!)
