That assumes the sand is poured in the shape of a cone and gets a strange results... i would suggest that the sand forms a cuboid with length h base 2h... Thus creating the nice result of 0.05, im sure whoever sent this in was expecting that answer

If the problem statement stated that the sand was being poured in a box that might work....but then you would have a box of undefined dimensions. Last time I dumped a pile of dirt it formed a nice cone.
