  • any plans for this setup?

  • @pfun41 I would say the best thing to do is go to snowguns.com and sing up it is free to do and take a look at the site. Then type in the sits search how to make a SM1 snow gun or snow gun. Here is some of the parts you may need I may miss some but it gives you an Idea . Brass or steel 4. 3/8 tees 2. 3/8 ninety degree 3 1/4 4002 baulk nozzles 1 nucleator (4008 or 6008 ) nozzle what ever size will work for your gun and temperatures 1 3/8 NPT to 22mm quick connecter and more
  • @pfun41 Plans go to snowguns.com sing up it is free type in the search link ( for plans on how to make a snow gun.) You will find what you are looking for it may take some time but You will learn a lot.

  • Whoa... weird nucleation setup!!! Doesn't seem like that'd work! It will probably create better mixing if the nucleation nozzle/chamber is shorter. What's on the end there? A tube or something? Or is it ice? A long mixing chamber gives the air and water inside the nuc a long time to separate, meaning worse nucleation spray.

  • At the end of the snow making run I made it shorter and made it into a letter 'W' shape nucleation nozzle. At the time it worked so I did it. On the end yes (it) is a long thin copper tube. It was real cold at the time and it worked real good.

  • is that just a power washer?

  • No air and a power washer.

  • Can you share a little light on that nucleation nozzle?

it looks like it works, ive been having trouble on finding a good one.

  • compressor + pressure washer is the only way to do it at home. Without a compressor it would actually have to be -20F for it to work.

  • so is that just a pressure washer with air??
