2001 Mustang GT: 0-130MPH

Me doing a quick run in my Mustang. It's an automatic, mods are JLT CAI and SCT Livewire Tuner. I rolled on the gas then floored it and brought it up to 130MPH before I ran out of road. I know it's slow.

Good video. My 01 GT auto made 235 rwhp,280 rw torque with only a CAI and an SCT tune- that works out to 293 crank hp and 350 lb/torque when factoring in a 20% drivetrain loss thru the automatic tranny. I was really happy to see a 33 hp increase for the $550 i spent on the CAI and tuner. It definitely made a huge difference in responsiveness from the automatic.

Turn off the O/D and really stamp on the gas. It`ll go a bit quicker than that. With it on your car will try and get into O/D and not hang onto the revs like it should. The 4.6 Modular needs the revs to go. Gears and O/D off and it`ll be night and day.

Yea that was my typo, I think you're right it is so that it saves gas. And yes, overdrive is automatically on.
