@chey81135 Just because one is Buddhist doesn't make them enlightened.

@HybridD91 To be Buddhist is to be nontheist not atheist.

@cypresspuz Buddhist countries have war as well. Just because someone is Buddhist doesn't mean they are enlightened.

I am Amerindian and I have my own traditional tribal faith, but I have found that Buddhism is a perfect match for the values I already hold dear. Buddha in my eyes from what I see so far was certainly a prophet of the great spirit and laid a beautiful path in front of us.
To my eyes Christianity not only is void of spiritual value, it would seem it invalidates ethics morality and responsibility.
In any case I think with this my path is complete and all the questions seem answered smiles..

@405OklahomaBrewing Buddhism and atheism aren't exclusive. Many Buddhists are atheists. Deconvert sounds better :).

There are wars in Buddhist countries are because those who make wars are not true Buddhists, though they may have claimed so. One of the first precept of the basic five precepts is "NO KILLING OF ALL BEINGS".
If America were buddhist there would be no war.

Buddhism is far more attractive to me than Christianity is. It's definately more spiritual than Christianity is.
