프로젝트 시나위는 전통음악의 본질이 갖고 있는 멋과 깊이를 가지고 현대 사회와 소통할 수 있는 새로운 음악양상으로 다시 태어나고자 하는 솔리스트 그룹 입니다.
전통음악의 다양한 장르 (산조, 장단, 판소리 등)를 즉흥음악인 시나위로 풀어내어 미래 한국음악의 가능성을 제시하고 다양한 매체와의 적용 및 지역사회와 해외 교류를 통해 우리 음악의 매력을 알리는데 중점을 두고 있습니다.
Soloist Group Sinawi members are graduated from Korean national university of Arts.
The idea of this group was derived from the study meeting on the true nature of Korean traditional music.
Through workshop on rhythms, solo instrumental music, shaman songs, pansori and other various genres of Korea traditional music, the meeting sought for a way for the future of Korean traditional music as well as improvisational music with its basis in Korea traditional music. Through diverse kinds of study and concert stages,
each member tries ones best to realize the artistic possibility of ones own and of the team, together as one.

선재마을은 교사와 학부모 그리고 청소년들이 주변의 자연과 문화를 어우르며 마음 살핌을 통한 마음고요의 문화 공동체를 지향합니다.

Found this extremely muddled. Just too much going on, or perhaps poor sound recording caused it, but it's just all but impossible to glean any musicality from this. Just sounds like noise for the whole latter 2/3rds of the production.

Lol, I now finally understand why almost all great Korean historic/classic drama (Ju Mong & many others) video's accompaniments/theme music etc. have to resort to either using western musical instruments or vocal singings!!!
