AJ- what are we all gonna tell them?
Joe- what do you mean?
AJ- well, they love each other just as much as we do, but
Aly- But they're too young to get married
AJ- (nods)
Joe- they're 17, they've got time to make sure they wanna get married
Kevin- But they went out even before any of us did, and they've known each other longer
Joe- you're right
AJ- well, what do we tell them?
Aly- we just say we're getting married, I think Miley would understand, but..
Joe- Nick loves Miley too much not to care
Kevin- he's right, Nick wants to marry her just not yet
Joe- I have an idea
Everyone- what?
Joe- just let's go find them and tell them, I'll talk to him later
AJ- okay, well let's go!
(they all start walking down the beach)
(w/ Nick and Miley)
Nick is sitting on a rock somewhere and Miley is in his lap
Nick- don't tell him I told you, but Kevin's gonna propose to Aly tonight
Miley- really?
Nick- yep
Miley- That's cool
Nick- I wish I could propose to you
Miley- cause I would say yes
Nick- you would?
Miley- yeah, I love you Nick
Nick- I love you too
Miley- and want to spend the rest of my life with you, I want to marry you
Nick- I'm supposed to say all that
Miley- well, I did it first (puts a hand on his face and kisses him)
(the others walk up and see them kissing)
Aly- and again I say, having fun?
Miley- (pulls away) yeah (stands up)
Nick- well I was
Joe- that's exactly what I said
Nick- (laughs)
Kevin- (clears his throat)
AJ- oh, right, um we have to tell you something
Miley- what?
Aly- we're getting married
Miley- yay! (hugs her) Nick told me Kev was gonna propose
Aly- but not just us
Miley- (confused)
Joe- so are we (with his arms around AJ)
Miley- (gasp) that's great! (hugs AJ) Is that why ya'll have been so happy
AJ- yeah, (looks at Nick) are you okay?
Nick- (had been looking down, but looks up) uh, yeah, that's great guys, hope you're happy together
Kevin and Joe exchange glances while AJ and Aly do the same
(later when they get home)
(in front of Aly and AJ's house)
Kevin- goodnight Aly (kisses her)
Aly- goodnight (goes inside and kev goes to the car)
AJ- I don't want this night to end (her arms around Joe's neck)
Joe- neither do I, but curfew's in 15 minutes for us
AJ- and I don't want you to get into trouble because then it would be a bad time to tell your mom about us being engaged
Joe- well, if the night has to end then we'll make this last (kisses her passionately)
Kevin- (yells from the car) Joe!!! We gotta go!!
Joe- (finishes his like 60second kiss and pulls away)
AJ- I could talk to you all night
Joe- well, I could call you when I get home
AJ- (smiles) sounds good (kisses him one more time and he leaves)
AJ- (sighs and walks inside putting her back against the door)
Aly- hard good-bye? (sarcastic)
AJ- shut up (goes upstairs)
(at the Jonas's house)
Nick- (goes to his room and slams his door)
Kevin- (starts to go)
Joe- (stops him) I got this (heads upstairs, stops at Nick's door and knocks)
Nick- who is it (frustration in his voice)
Joe- (opens the door) It's your awesome brother, Joe
Nick- what
Joe- (shuts the door and sits down on the bed next to Nick) Listen dude, I'm sorry we all decided to get married at one time, I know you want to marry Miley and you probably feel left out and all, but I have an idea
Nick- all that is true, what's your idea
Joe- give her a promise ring
Nick- what?
Joe- give her a ring, and you'll have a matching one and they mean that one day you guys will get married, and that you will stay with each other, so it's almost like being engaged
Nick- idk
Joe- C'mon man, think it over, goodnight (gets up and opens the door)
Nick- goodnight, and Joe?
Joe- yeah?
Nick- thanks
Joe- no problem (leaves and closes the door)
