  • this is bayan.. not accordion!!! this is very nice;)) im learning that now:)

  • bayan is also a kind of accordion

there are two kinds of accordion

one is button accordion, also called bayan

the other is piano accordion, but usually called accordion for short

  • accordion is only with clap.. i mean like piano on right hand.. and bass on left hand is like a bayan.. and bayan have buttons on right hand:) i played with accordion about 10 years.. so if u can play with accordion with left hand u can play with bayan with left hand.. btw.. bayan's line of buttons are 5.. and there about 12xdo-si and accordion is 46 buttons;)

  • there are two kinds of that b and c system

    but i prefer piano now...

'cause i found somewhere in my school that i can play piano

  • @xbox2xbox technically yes, it is. But Bayan is an other world :)

  • @Szekszkazan yeah, i agree with that...

bayan leads the best tech and performance..

  • Mr. Romanko I never get tired to listen your music . This performance is simply excellent. Thank you for posting this video,I continue enjoyng it Congretiolations

  • That's not completely true. Button and Piano accordion are two types of accordion.

Bayan is a button accordion with free basses - not all accordions have free basses - and completely different internal architecture. In accordions, every reed has his own reedplate. In bayan, the same reedplate is shared by a whole reed set. So, bayan sounds slightly different from a "simple" accordion and his extension (64 notes on right + 58 notes on the left) is way superior. Cheers ;-)

  • My favorite.." Rhaposody 2" and an amazing performance ! to be watched over and over again..

    Sheer pleasure. Stan.

  • crazy, i love it.

  • @ykshiuz

Bayan is one specific tune for a button accordion of several - one rather uncommon outside the slavic schools

The instrument in question IS a bayan

  • @xbox2xbox calm down, Bayan is Russian word for a button accordion. They named it after Boyan, a legendary bard, who was mentioned in the Rus' epic "The Lay of Igor's Campaign".

  • @outerpol i agree with you... thing is... you concentrate more on his mistakes and flaws of his performance when in reality its a really difficult piece to play, especially on an accordion. And highly doubt that me or you can play it better. So, just relax and enjoy the performance :D

  • the most impressive thing I can do with my hands is scratch my butt... Brovo! one of my fav songs.

  • Lots of mistakes but the sounds is good. He also needs to slow the fuck down for some parts.

  • Viktor Romanko is one among the biggest concertists of accordion in the world..all notes have a great intensity, depth and dynamic variety .. a perfect and moving performer

  • yea this is music for accordion, not a folk music!!!!

  • Looks like he's gonna explode at 4:20
