  • You used a camera that takes video tapes, didn't you? And what about the x-rays? How did they come out?

  • @RGAF1987 Yes I did use an old video tape recorder. It came out ok with minimum x-ray effect on the CCD since its not a direct path with radiation.

  • That's pretty cool and all, but you need to look into the early X-ray experiments, and what happened to the people involved. Please for the sake of everyone in your house, at least sheild the tube with lead to protect them and get yourself some good life insurance! For anyone else that wants to do this, for the love of life,be careful!

  • @Oldbmwr100rs Thank you much sir. I hate to say this "I'm a certified Radiological Health Safety Officer" in my country. Have worked with cobalt (6,000 curies) and LINAC (up to 25Mv) machines for a long time. The only thing that scares me most is when I'm on an airplane (35 to 40,000 feet) with sun storm.

  • Ohh man, good luck with the cancer, of all the engineering projects I would consider doing at home, messing around with radiation is not one of them...that being said, this is still pretty cool

  • @ickyickyyaya2000 Yes I agree and I stop doing it. Probably several millions of my cells died at that time but thank GOD it was replaced with new ones.

  • @geramtec

is that simmilar to the types that retain their luminesence after being exposed to a light, or is this a totaly different thing. Brilliant work.
