The Firestudio Mobile needs to be plugged in with the power adapter if you are using any current Mac computer. More than likely it has only a FireWire 800 port. It's not getting sufficient power through it! If you're on a PC I would check the chipset of your FireWire interface with OHCI tool. Goolge it!

I should have said that bot mic's are xlr connections . 1 needs power , 1 doesn't . - Jerry - aka - HUTCHfromBA .

Great video ! Can you tell me if you have a condenser mic (needs 48v) AND a dynamic mic (doesn't need power) . Can you set mic 1 with phantom power and mic 2 without power ?

This sound card has a problem,when the network power is used,the sound card disconnects from the PC board.even when the neighbors turn on the light or turrn off....My opinion is that,this product will only bring problems than to solve audio problems, any software that will use the audio interface will suffer when the neighbor will turn off or on the light ...but ... sounds good ...:(This product is not professional ..

@logidus007 We had the same problem here about a month ago......our solution was to toss it and buy something better.
