The Jamaican MAP

St. John's Primary School speech ensemble performs an adaptation of "Perspectives from the Jamaican MAP" written by Yvonne O. Coke. This event took place on Jamaica's Independence Day celebrations at King's House on August 6, 2009. St. John's Primary School from Spanish Town, Jamaica received a bronze medal for this piece earlier this year (2009) at the JCDC National Festival Competition parish finals.

Yvonne O. Coke is also the author of "Eternal Father Bless Our Land".

WHAT? Um. Rubbish. More thinly veiled religious fanaticism and brainwashing of kids who need to grow up knowing economics and science and sociology and politics and why Jamaica is in such a 'shituation'. What? M.A.P? A covenant with God? Seriously? Yvonne Coke this is opiate for under-educated masses whose only higher education is church and whose only schoolbook is Bible. Ten years from now these talented kids will watch this and wonder what the hell is this and who screwed up their dreams.
