  • Egyptians did not to my knowlege ever have a matriarchial culture since almost all of the pharoahs were men and their few queens like Cleopatra had authority from being descended from men such as Alexander the Great's general Ptolomy from whom Cleopatra was descended. The rights of women were generally non-existant before the invention of firearms in all human cultures. Remember that for school.

Correct. What Kemetians (Egyptians) had was a Matriarchal "LINEAGE" meaning all Nobility was passed through the Mother just as the Tudor Royal Family does today. The only times the Women assumed the Kingship was when they had to become co-regents for Sons who were too young to assume power. Queen Hetshepset is a prime example of this process. She ruled Egypt from 1479 BCE -1458 (21 years) because her Step Son Amenhotep III (The Greatest General Egypt Ever Had!) was too young.

  • This is trying to happen again we need to fight for are rights to vote..

  • Viewed all vids Fam, plus speech. BIG ups to this post. I had heard of Mrs. Hamer but not the details of her suffering at the hands of the beast; not the extreme heroism of her work and monster courage. Now I know why the Egyptians had a matriarchal culture.

  • oH PLEASE, STOP THE MADNESS!
