This was my unit base back in 1990. E Troop 2nd 11cav. An elete BORDER GUARD unit. It was like a vacation to me. History, and the most beautiful surroundings. It's gone today. it's all gone.

Wow, I had no idea they demolished Daley Barracks! This was my first overseas experience from 91-93... Many great memories.

When I first arrived in Bad Kissingen I didn't think I was going to like it. I did, and it was the best place I served at in Germany. I was an MP with the 212th MP Co.. I was the one that had to come and get you drunk, hash smoking, fighting, individuals all the time. I was in BK from Sept 1979 - Nov 1980. We could not even live on the post because you guys liked us so much. We lived over top the Dental Clinic in the downtown part of the city near the train station.
