  • Oh yes excellant with jelly or jam for sure! Currant jelly is my favorite.

  • You are allowed to have your opinion. No arguing that they taste great!

  • Use milk instead of water, skip the sugar (put that on the pancake instead) and take barely a teaspoon of salt, the pancake should be as big as the fryingpan, make it more golden brown, don't roll it, don't add butter on the pancake (the butter in the fryingpan is enough) and especially don't use syrup. Swedish pancakes is served with jam, sugar or creeme.

I'm sure your pancakes are good as well, but they're not really swedish pancakes

  • Definitely use milk not water. Also I use at least six eggs. The pancake should be the size of the pan. Put some batter in the middle of the pan and roll it around the pan until the whole pan bottom is covered. The proper topping is lingonberries - they sell them at Whole Foods. They are in a jar in the jelly section.

  • If they're not swedish pancakes i really don't care. I just put it over MEDIUM heat (hot made it a bit difficult to turn without spilling the uncooked batter on the top) and i just got me like 10+ pancakes with this recipie. With or without syrup, they taste amazing.

  • thats not swedish pancakes

  • You're supposed to use milk not water...

  • skrattretande vilket skämt

  • Swed here, you are doing it wrong! And we don't use sugar. And only a teaspoon of salt.

  • Thanks for sharing! I'd replace the water with milk and add a teaspoon of salt though ;).

  • umm, i'm sure they taste good and everything :) however, these are not swedish pancakes! so lots of people are probably confused...
