Jamestown: Bomber - Chapter V [Legendary]

This is to show the Bomber, a ship many people feel is weak and terrible. Hopefully I can show it's strengths and make it seem less weak or terrible for people who watch this. All of the deaths I had were just common errors, not thinking about where enemies will fire, thinking my shield will last longer or just charging in and being more reckless than needed. Not because of the ship but because of the player, me.

PS, if you hug the wall around 0:45-0:50 behind those turrets pointing to the other path you could have taken, your alt fire without firing has a radius big enough to destroy them. I hadn't noticed it until after recording.

Because my Fraps is set to not record audio due to slowing down games with that setting on, I forgot while recording and it might do the same to this game as well, so although the game has great music and sound, you'll have to forgive me and listen to the alternative tracks I put there instead.

I rather like the music choice. I mean, yes. The Jamestown soundtrack is as incredible as it gets. But after listening to it for hours after failing the game so many times (ESPECIALLY in Croatoa), I find this selection to be a rather fitting music alternative. Also, thanks for the video overall, I've been mystified at what purpose this ship served. It's apparently quite a suicide conveyance, which is actually -very- fitting of the character who pilots it, based on the story beats.

This was precisely what i was looking for. A quick demo from somebody who's gotten the basic grasp of the bomber ship and can utilize it properly.

I always suspected that it had the raw DPS capabilities if used correctly, lo and behold. Thumbs up from me for a nice video!

Well done. I'm still having trouble with this level. I'll get it eventually. I just need to have more lives going into the last boss. I experimented with bomber, but I'm not very good at detonating the shots.

when i read they updated the ship i gave it a shot, found the alt auto fire pbaoe style attack and used it on some shit on stage 1, which i am very familiar with. i wasn't close to breaking my own records with it, and it seemed to kill shit more slowly than my gunner was.

i'm watching this video and seeing this ship doing more damage. interesting stuff. i won't use the bomber still coz gunner is still more fun :P
