This is the very famous story of a tank engine (Thomas) and one of the resident passenger locomotives (Gordon). Thomas is consistently rude to Gordon and in spite of this he is the butt of a well planned scheme. Gordon decides to give Thomas a run for his money and show him the true definition of "work". Afterward Thomas realizes his mistakes and is keen to stay well enough alone!

If you're expecting another angle-for-angle remake then you are probably going to be disappointed. I've found that there are many limits to what you can do if you copy the original episode down the last detail; this is not a remake in the literal sense. The same basic ideas are there, but the presentation and execution are different. It gives the feeling that you're watching a totally new episode which is exactly the feel I wanted to evoke. I know I am guilty of doing the former, totally rehashing a previous episode, but I thought I'd try something new! (In all honesty though, it's just showing off my new models...haha...)

Some segments of the narration were cut out for consistency and practicality concerns. Otherwise, it is all there and hopefully I extracted a totally different feeling out of the words. ;)

  • This is *the* awesome. No doubt about it. Of all the times I've seen this episode redone I very much like how you brought own personal rendition to the table. Excellent!

  • hey skarloey123, will the '09 content work on Trainz 2010?

  • The Series 1 coach windows are on the wrong side.

  • @Alexthemaster33 He Will `cos he`s done the trainz 09 thomas already.

  • trainz :)

  • @Oskarmandude1 Thomas was originally for Twelve-year-olds

This is a remake of the first episode.

He's around sixteen or more, and he made these models himself

    the end.

  • Thomas the tank engine?

May I ask how old you are?

  • Out of curiosity, why do the windows on the express coaches keep on changing? At one point, there would be 22 windows on a coach. On others though, there would be 34. (Most notably between 2:44 and 2:46)

  • @bobo577 I wouldn't worry.

In fact, you do it better than HIT themselves.

Honestly, they somewhat butchered the series if you ask me.

Anyhow, I never seen them issue takedown notices, so I think you are good.

  • I have a problem with my Sodor Island 3D, My engine have missing desppences exept Skarloey and Peter Sam and my routes have missing despences too.

  • @TrainzFanNumber1 I think they are very well made, My only concern is legality. Whether or not HIT is okay with this business. I mean did SI3D ask permission to do these. But other than that, The models are well constructed.
