Since March 31 marked the day of Brandon Lee's death, I thought of showing this video that is made by myself. I used five collages from a loyal Crow fan for this. The basic concept of this vid is to show Eric's devotion to Shelly and how his quest for vengeance is actually his hope to see her again as he waits. The vid also features my signature flashes and grayscale/color contrast. The contrast was originally intended as the final touch-up for the film, but the filmmakers couldn't get it. I used Limp Bizkit's "Hold On" because it set the mood for how Eric lets go of being himself and becomes The Crow. I love the duet with Fred Durst and Scott Weiland. I think the music fits quite well. If you watch it long enough, you'll hear the voice of Brandon himself from a clip on his last interview. If you would like to read the five poems by James O'Barr at the start of the vid, you can pause and read them.
This video is dedicated in loving memory to Brandon himself.
Rest in peace, Brandon. We miss you.
Notice: The Crow is created by James O'Barr and a trademark under Miramax Films. The music is written and performed by Limp Bizkit.

  • I hate that MF who put the wrong bullets into the gun... so stupid... first Bruce and then Brandon. Why do such great human beings die so early?

  • @xell6666 I read that it was a faulty prop and that it was supposed to be a dummy bullet that was in the chamber. Bruce and Brandon still did leave a legacy to share to us all, and we each can take a chance at what they went for.

  • i commented on this before but idc, this is an awsome movie and i just love the music video. at the end of the movie kind of makes u cry but good tears

  • @rocketmanntime It is a perfect movie, one of my top favorites. I recommend the comic too if you haven't read it. A lot of James's emotions was put into that comic, just as Brandon's performance was into the film.

  • YOU DO THE BEST "MUSIC TO CROW" MIXES I HAVE SEEN.

Keep doing what you're doing. Amazing work.

  • @augtenth Not all of the videos were mine. I was trying to spread the word of another who had done videos like mine. I normally don't take credit unless I do my own work. And I thank you.

  • absolutely amazing work buddy! what a great dedication. your memory will always live on brandon <3 <3 <3

  • excellent song and video !!!

  • This song fits awesomely; mainly due to Scott Weiland being on the vocals. So many "tributes" going around youtube feature watered down grunge or effeminate alternative music as the backdrop, it really doesn't make sense, especially since most of the bands that they feature weren't even around in 94: Weiland was, even on the original soundtrack. Good job mate.

  • @TetsumiKato Oh yes, also great visual of the comic pages and poems.

  • @TetsumiKato Good luck in that endeavor and how do you go about ripping scenes from DVDs? I tried it with one before, but there was some kind of security on it preventing me? Any good programs I could use to do it legally?

  • @beastdude507 I still would like to revise this video when I have the right software since I have the DVD to rip from. I thank you for appreciating this video.
