  • Awesome

  • @bcbarkercreations Thanks!

  • Garrik,

That is a very interesting discovery. Did you get your toffee het from someone you would trust not to sell you something else? I hope that you did, and I hope that this discovery is in fact true. That would be great. I wonder if the toffee gene would dominate the albino gene kinda like the pied does with many genes. It's going to be interesting to see what happens as that little fella grows.

    Matt,

The 100% het toffee male I used came straight from Craig Stewart of Urban Reptile. I am really excited to see how this turns out. I think a lot of cool combos can be done pretty quickly if it is compatible with the albino line. Stay tuned for updates!

    Thanks,

  • Hi Garrick, how sure are you that the Male was not a possible or 100% het albino?

    Chris

  • @FreedomBreederuk Chris,

I received my 100% het toffee male directly from Craig Stewart of The Urban Reptile. I really doubt he is a regular het albino. There is also another breeder in Canada that is posting on Bush League that he did the cross last year and his albino turned purple. I haven't read the details of his postings yet, though.

    Thanks,

    Garrick DeMeyer

  • are snake eggs suppose to be soft like that? that looks awesome.

  • Toffino!

Check out Peter Williams Reptiles! He produced one in 2010!

  • I 1st heard about this pairing here in Oklahoma and it was by totally different breeders. It is no rumor it is a fact.

  • @meltedsmile80 From what I can make of it there were rumours around for a while, with the first ones produced a while ago?(I've think they've already been dubbed the Toffino??) But, the person selling them kept it hush hush to maximise his profits before the truth was revealed i.e. a video like this etc. Thus people think the market will crash next year, with everybody trying to make money fast, so people will buy het Toffee males and plug them into every Albino or het Albino female going?

  • HI i want to purchase a snow corn any idea where i can buy 1 thanks

  • Okay sorry this has nothing to do with snakes but how do you sex leopard geckos when they get older? O and nice looking clutch and if you could find a hinding gene in the albino that would be awesome!

  • Wow That is some cool Stuff going on!

  • Maybe the toffee is a different albino line that browns out in a very amazing way similar to axanthic lines(SK, VPI, Jolliff) but in this case ending up being compatible? just a thought...

  • @passionspythons "Incomplete Dominant" sounds like incorrect, and confusing, terminology. And a phrase I've never heard or read once. But I concur with PassionsPythons on all points.

  • @mushugai Yes I do, sorry.
