This was the song my husband and I danced our first dance to at our wedding, four years ago. Crazy.

An amazing person in my school name Robert Smuniewski died last year. Many kids in my school are posting this on their facebook page for him, since today is the one year anniversary of his death. I miss you so much Rob, you were truly an amazing person, and you never failed to brighten up everyones day with simply your presence or a smile. Rest Easy kid, you're soul will live on forever in our hearts and in our minds.

Hubby sent this song to me, as we're mourning the passing of our daughter, Amber, at 23 earlier this year and anticipating her birthday coming up this week. It's tough. Lovely song and good to remember.

I live in Tennessee, went to a insane party at a log cabin in the boonies. Drank hard on cinnamon shine, in the midst of the party a long haired blonde fellow pulled out a banjo and started playing on the porch. I was the first to sit down and listen to him play, we passed a joint in our rocking chairs looking out at the mountains as he played this song on his banjo, singing the words flawlessly. Awesome night.
