how could you just ignore the fact that your cameraman was having a siezure?
-
ya know , if you had put the bucket containing the oil above the height of the fish tank, you could have done the ol siphon hose trick... yeah i know i am a bit late, but still...
-
If i actually had a computer to spare i would totally do this! I play games that made my last gaming pc catch on fire (yes it had heat sink [or whatever]). And by the time i get my computer booted it sounds like a flying plane, so oil would help a ton. Oh and nice job man.

were you not worried about the possible thermal shock, since some of the parts on your motherboard would have started getting pretty hot by the time you reached them?
-
How far along where you in your pregnancy in this video?
-
Before this I considered Putting my components inside a mini-fridge haha. But this...why didn;t I think of it?
-
does the increased resistance on the power-supply fan, and/or other fan's electric motors/parts cause any problems as far as you are aware?
-
is that a radiator and a pump, and the tank acting as a reservoir? WANT! that looks pretty amazing.
-
Where did you get your radiator from ??, also where can i get your pump from aswell

Who cares if this isent overclocked or whatever.. besides if you want to over clock your PC, Clearly you cant afford a decent PC anyways..
My hats off to you of doing this in a Fishtank with all the other Fish stuff in there really dose make this project alot more different, Its a shame manny others just seam to follow sheep and do the same old stuff time and time again, So again Great Video, Great project!!
Congratulations on your Success.
Is it really okay to keep the power supply submerged like that?
TheClydeCash 4 weeks ago
@TheClydeCash Yes, because mineral oil is not conductive.

That was completely pointless if your not overclocking. No point whatsoever.
linuxguy2009 4 weeks ago
@linuxguy2009 I already stated my reasons for doing this in the start of the video.

Is it safe to put the power supply in there? I was thinking that the high voltage of a power outlet would be enough to gap and cause a shortage.
skrat501 1 month ago
@skrat501 The power supply is 100% safe in the oil, as mineral oil is not conductive.
