  • Interesting point for me : It seems like you are paddling at 10000 rpm .... I just transfered a reggatta, film shot in 58 on R8 and people are paddling too fast for reality. Is it something common ?

  • Nope, that's real time since that's how long the race took on the official stopwatch...its just that you do not capture as many frames per second as video (18fps vs 29.97) so there are additional copied images to make the leap from 18 to 29.97 for what you see on youtube...as for your old stuff, slow it down, chances are it was transferred fast to avoid video flicker...

  • Hi

Well ... I did the transfer frame by frame in XGA,

and I have it at 17 fps, smae thing. It seems that fast motion and R8 dont go together very well. Part of the charm I guess :-)

    Cheers

  • Is that an old Montgomery outrigger? what a classic!

  • Superb colours... Put to Animal Collective, or some ambient indie pop, it looks great. Would be cool to try the same but at something like 64fps.

  • Really nice looking. Beats digital footage imo.

  • Great video! :D
