The forth chainsaw carving. This time a dragon's head, or two of them actually who came out of the same log. I spend more time on this one that any of the previous carvings. I wanted to put as many details into it as time would permit. Recently, I finally got my hands on a Stihl MS200 with carving equipment so the next one will be mostly done by a chainsaw.

I am satisfied with the end-result, all the cool elements from several Dragons I liked came out nicely in one carving. I wanted to give the Dragon a highly armored appearance, lots of bare bone, horns and spikes. Adding the 'Triceratops' like beak and spiked neck frill gave it the menacing look I wanted.

This carving was made in the Hortus Haren, Netherlands.
