Some highlights of Def Lep 2011 download gig; includes Wasted, Let it Go, Undefeated, When Love and Hate Collide. Apologies for the camerawork, plus the crowd were a lot more into it then may appear! Hope the sound is ok too, my camera is not the best (sorry about the occasional sound cut offs, whenever I zoom it cuts the audio, stupid thing).

Wow, I reckon they've finally worked out, that the Uk likes the proper rock, and the US likes the countrypop.... I love Leppard, but even I got a bit concerned with the whole Taylor Swift thing....

@nillhouse all bands have their iffy moments, even Maiden for example made the dodgy 'Virtual XI' album and Judas Priest did like a Eurovision song or something. This show was amazing and Joe looks a lot fitter than two years ago. As for America, I would have assumed that heavier stuff was more popular there, the UK charts are full of absolute garbage...

@JonnyInfinite Totally got you fella, Leppard have always been much bigger in the states, thats probally why they embraced the US so early on. I just didn't like the whole country phase they went through a couple of years ago..
I guess British music is always changing, thats why people used to look to our bands and try to emulate their styles, but I gotta agree, the stuff in our charts is utter crap at the moment. I'll even let you off for dissing the Mighty Maiden! On this one occasion! lol :)

@nillhouse look out for some Maiden stuff later next month, seeing them supported by Airbourne at the M.E.N... and also some Whitesnake stuff possibly next week. Don't ya just hate me? lol
