Will Young & Gareth Gates with the Pop Idol Big Band.

As featured on SMTV. Live in Covent Grden shortly after Will won the first series of Pop Idol. This was a 'secret gig' and Will, Gareth and Zoe Birket sang classic big band material with a swinging big band, made up of London's finest and swingiest(!) young jazz musicians.

No worries! I was playing drums on that gig and my mates were all doing the big band... great fun!

I remember how much Will loved performing with the Big Blue in Pop Idol (singing We Are In Love) and also during the PI Tour. He's gather an excellent bunch of musicians around him since.
