Duo "Sam Say" plays Emanations by Gary White, an original composition for the carillon, on the Sydney University Carillon at their inaugural recital on 5th June 2011.

Duo "Sam Say" (Cantonese for "Three, Four") are Amy Johansen, University Organist and Carillonist, and Isaac Wong, Honorary Carillonist. Amy is a carillonneur member of the Guild of Carillonneurs in North America (GCNA). Isaac is the first Australian to graduate from the Belgian Royal Carillon School in Mechelen, Flanders. They were both introduced to the instrument by Dr Jill Forrest, the former University Carillonist.

Amy would like everyone to know that she had hurt her little finger during ice-skating, and begs listeners not to judge her too harshly on her performance. And Isaac claims full responsibility for all the wrong notes produced.

Recitals are played every Sunday all year round at 2pm, at the Main Quad of the University of Sydney, Camperdown campus.
