Enzymes -proteins with positively charged ionic bonds... ex.... calcium, magnesium, zinc etc... that acts as a key to unlock other proteins when the "positively" charged ion in fused and attracted to a "negatively" charged particle... look up "Cation Exchange Capacity" in plants... they eat at the root tips by exchanging positive for negatively charged particles...
